The Village Office will be closed Wednesday June 30th at 1:30pm & will re-open Tuesday July 6th. In observance of Independence Day, the employees will be off on Monday July 5th, Residential garbage pickup will be Tuesday July 6th.

Web Bill Pay & Debit/Credit Card Payments
We accept web bill pay as well as debit/credit card payments. Come into the office to pay your bill or go online. There is a minimum fee to use this service.

The Village of Forrest has 2 cubic yard dumpsters for rental to Forrest Residents living inside city limits. Rental fee is $20.00 per dump minimum and $35.00 per dump minimum for shingles/building projects; contact Lori in the office to fill out the rental agreement.
Register your golf carts during Village office hours Monday–Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. You will need to bring golf cart and proof of insurance with you.

The Village of Forrest, Illinois is located at the junction of US Route 24 and Illinois Route 47. Forrest was named in honor of a Mr. Forrest of New York City, the business partner of Mr. Frost, President of the T.P.W. Railroad at the time of incorporation in 1890.
